XIX Activewear Collection
(Water Box)

The main piece for the XIX Activewear Collection is one of my favourite pieces of work made whilst working at Sidemen Clothing (so far). Although its a fairly simple scene, there were a number of changes that were made during the process. The biggest one being that originally, it all was inside a glass box, hence the graphics name "Water Box". From the inside I had created an infinite mirror effect which was what I wanted however with the direction of the piece beginning from the outside tracking in, I decided to make the change as I didn't quite like how it all looked from the outside.
I decided to raise the roof piece up a little higher and then add some wire like meshes to look like they're holding it up. I also felt like this gave the scene a larger sense of scale as you cannot see where the wire leads, only it fading from the lights reach.
The most important thing I wanted to do with this environment was have it all happening on a large body of water in a dark setting. I just like the idea that it feels lost or mysterious.
I used Blenders Geometry Nodes to create the cube wave with random scaling. Its a pretty simple node setup but I felt it just gave a cool dynamic to the piece.
Just some extra still pieces I put together as post drop content and website assets.
